Pogo 12.50

We had an amazing first sailing experience on a Pogo 44 together with our skipper. Initially we were set to sail with another boat more suitable for a crew that had more experience. However it was well arranged that we could switch to a more comfortable boat which was very valuable!

Initially we had some trouble finding the boat on the dock since it was not really specified or communicated anywhere, but after some phone calls we finally managed to find it.

The plan was very flexible and fully up to the crew to decide whether we stayed the nights at different ports or anchored in different locations, as well as where we decided to sail. Our skipper was very professional and knowledgable, and we got to learn quite a lot during our course!

All in all a very special experience in the sunny mediterranean sea with clear waters and sunny wamr days!

Starting at Bormes-les-Mimosas we had a wonderful week sailing coastline of the Calanques up to the bay of Marseille and enjoying new experiences with a splendid view of the islands and cliffs.

Thanks to our excellent teacher we felt as a team, worked together, were encouraged to take over new tasks. Everything was explained and we had so much fun!

The Pogo is a great boat, got its speed, even while doing the dishes you watch the sea.

Que demander de mieux, un skipper qui sait expliquer, écouter et qui tient compte de nos demandes. En plus, Pierre a un cv qui est très rassurant. J’ai beaucoup appris avec lui.

Skipper au top. Très beaux mouillages.. Bateau sportif adapté au gros temps même avec des rafales de 35 noeuds. Beau volume, un peu spartiate.

Un grand merci à Sam pour son efficacité, la cohésion qu’il a su créer durant le stage sur Purple Rain.
Le Pogo 12,,50 est un super bateau qui m’a procuré beaucoup de plaisir.
